McDonald's Akihabara Station Front|I Was Able to Charge My Smartphone Using the Free Power Outlet (2nd‑Floor Window Seat)

Since I wasn't very hungry for dinner today, I decided to eat at McDonald's.

The McDonald's I visited this time is the Akihabara Station Front store, located on the side with the bus rotary and taxi pool near Akihabara Station, close to Yodobashi Camera (address: 1 Kanda Aioi-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

I ordered the Bacon Lettuce Burger set, and with smartphone coupon 616, the price was 500 yen including tax. For the drink, I chose my favorite iced coffee.

Power Outlets at the Akihabara Station Front Store

After receiving my order at the first-floor counter, I went to a window-side seat on the second floor of McDonald's Akihabara Station Front.
There, I found a freely available power outlet with a sign that read:
"Power outlet for computers
Please feel free to use it."
It was a power outlet that customers could use freely.

Of course, purchasing food at McDonald's is a basic requirement, but being able to use the power outlet for free after buying something is extremely helpful.

My smartphone (iPhone) was running low on battery, so I was very happy.

Comfort of the 2nd-Floor Window-Side Seat

Even though it was a window-side seat, I didn't feel much of the cold from outside, so I stayed for a while. That said, I entered the store after 10 p.m., and considering the last train, "staying for a while" meant about an hour and a half.

Heading Home and Impressions

It seems to be a 24-hour store, but staying until morning would be tough, and since it was my day off, I wondered whether catching the last train like on a workday was ideal. So I left the store around 11:50 p.m. to catch a train slightly earlier than the last one. (At that time, I was able to catch one train earlier than the last train.)

The place was comfortable, so I'd like to visit again when I come to Akihabara--preferably during the daytime. (Even after 10 p.m., there were lots of people, so there might be even more during the day!)
